I’m a recovering fundamentalist and a New England transplant learning how to put down deep roots in the Deep South. I’ve built houses in Kentucky, preached sermons in Glacier National Park, prayed with the monks in southern England, and worked as a chaplain, church planter, and itinerant preacher. Right now I’m serving drinks at a tavern while I seek a denominational home and discern the next vocational step. I have a BA in Philosophy from the University of New Hampshire and an MDiv from Candler School of Theology, and a background in the Baptist/non-denominational church.
I love preaching, the Hebrew Bible, thinking about how LGBTQ issues intersect with my faith, how Scripture informs political activism, and I really, really love the Gospel.
